tractor beam

is it possible to program the beam?
i remember some version of i dont know wich mod already, when i had several battlecruisers focusing fire on enemy capital ships. when ion cannons all fired on one ship they pushed it somewhat..well with whole bunch of capital class ions, they kinda throw enemy ships away. it was funny to watch but bad side effect was that ships were thrown out of firing range. like around 5km away...
so if there was a way to push ships away, then it would be logical to presume that is possible to pull ships.

i had situation when i disabled the enemy ship with emp, capture it but then ship was still disabled and unable to move out of harms way. here is where tractor would be usefull, to pull disabled ships away from hot zone.

Another (previously discussed) idea of using tractor beam would be auxiliary ship able to grab debris left from other ships without using collectors.

Yes, push and pull weaponry can be created. Not sure about these being able to capture things though.

we could have a pull weapon on a special attack, allowing you to target an enemy ship to pull it back into main weapon's range.
