I took a look at it, but texturing is the most painful thing in existence after coding, is no surprise no one wants to do it, as I told naka I don't promise anything, but if this keeps stalled for much longer ill do it out of annoyance, or hire a friend to do it.

I know the pain — I tried to learn it once, too much time needed.
Perhaps we ought to use an existing model, if the texturing is what is holding up the inclusion of the ship class.

I should upload what I have, if someone else wants to give it a try. I thought I had a neighbor who is taking computer modeling classes at university that was going to help me, but I haven't seen anything from him. Do I try to upload to BitBucket, or can I throw it up on the dropbox?

New model for the Fleet Carrier

New Fleet Carrier hull. Currently equipped with 2 ion cannon turrets and 4 2x pulsar turrets. 2 launching bays, two docking bays.

Fleet carrier, good idea... battlecarrier... bad idea, if a carrier can both fight by itself and deploy fighters, they become good at everything, carriers MUST forcibly require escort, except against light threats.

I like this one :3

Well, I kinda agree, but the current armament would only help against a lonely destroyer (I mean a DD is worth 4000 RU on average, it makes sens that a fleet carrier ought to be capable to take down one of them. Put 2 or 3 DD, destroy the FC engines, and fight from above or beneath, and you'll only have to deal with 1 Ion Cannon. The pulsar turrets aren't of any use against DDs.

This is doctrine at the expense of common sense, imo. (Everyone knows my views on what a Fleet Carrier should be, so I won't run through it again).
Needs some rapid sweeper turrets (buildable) and four module slots.

See normal carrier. There's separate bays for fighters and corvettes. It only comes into play for launching and docking, though.

If my information is correct it has to do with how the docking is set up. Can't be fixed, there will only be one entry and one exit bay for each class of ship.
